dog with tremors at rest
our dog (4yo female neutered Mini Schnauzer) has started having tremors or spasms that only seem to happen when she is resting. they can go on itermittantly for 10-15mins. her regular vet examined her but did not do blood work. he said that some dogs just have tremors and the testing would be painful and invasive to really determine the cause. otherwise she is perfectly healthy and gets a fair amount of exercise. what are your feelings on this and do you have any idea what might cause these tremors? |

Dog drinking alcohol
My dog REALLY likes alcoholic beverages, so much so, that she sticks her face in anybody's drink who's back is turned. Lately, her behavior has changed somewhat. She has torn up her bed and is having some crazy dreams (It would apprear by her barking and movements during sleep). The other day, she actually bit my hand when I put my hand around her muzzle to move her away from my cup of hot sake. I have put my hand on her muzzle this way many many times with no adverse reaction. I should have recognized her increased agression as I continued to move my sake away from her but did not and so, for the first time, got bitten. Is the alcohol dangerous to this animal and could it be causing negative changes in her behaviour?
