Dog with possible constipation and imodium
Chip (13yo Labrador cross - male neutered) ate a large amount of sliced turkey ( no bones ) and has not had a bowel movement since. ( 3 days ) He will also not eat. I contacted my vet and he recommended giving chip imodium ( anti diarreahl) Bloat has been ruled out due to the amount of time that has passed. Should imodium be used in what seems to be a constipation case? Wouldn't a laxative be more appropriate? I would contact Chip's vet again but it is after hours. |

Dog digging carpet
My dog (5yo female neutered Blue Heeler mix) is outside during the day and inside at night. I've only had her for 6 months- I got her from a friend. During the past month, she started scratching at our carpets ruining them. She only scratches them around the walls never in middle of the floor. Why is she doing this and what can I do to get her to stop?
