Benadryl and acepromazine in combination on itching dog
My scottie (3yo female neutered) seems to be suffering from flea allergies. I have treated her with Frontline but she continues to dig & scratch at herself. I would like to give her some benadryl. I have read online the dose is 0.5-2 mg/Lb two times per day. Is this correct? I am getting ready to go on vacation and my brother will be keeping her. She has suffered from separtion anxiety before so I got a prescription of Acepromazine 25 mg refilled for my brother to give her if she needs it. Can the benadryl and the acepromazine be given at the same time? |

Dog digging carpet
My dog (5yo female neutered Blue Heeler mix) is outside during the day and inside at night. I've only had her for 6 months- I got her from a friend. During the past month, she started scratching at our carpets ruining them. She only scratches them around the walls never in middle of the floor. Why is she doing this and what can I do to get her to stop?
