The behaviorial problem with our young bull terrier was so severe that I didn't even consider

I followed your recommendation to have my dog examined by my own vet. His diagnosis was the same as yours, plus he found more lumps in her chest. It has given us great piece of mind having two vets provide the same diagnosis. It has made the decision process easier as to whether or not to euthanize. Without your website, I would be spending possibly hundreds of dollars taking my dog to different vets. We have decided to do a course of antibiotics to see if there is a slim chance that it is an infection, although my vet's opinion is that it is most likely cancer of the lymph nodes. We'll see what the next few weeks brings. Thank you again.

Dear Dr. Lillian,
I wrote you back in October of 2004 about my ill cat. She passed away within a two week period of being very nautious. I had taken her to the hospital and to the veterinarian (where she eventually died). The primary diagnosis was pancreatitis. I had her cremated and did not consider an autopsy at the time. For some reason, I am thinking that she had Feline Infectious Peridonitis. I am not sure why this keeps coming up, but I am wondering if some symptoms of FIP might be related to pancreatitis. Just a thought.

I found your site by googling my cat's symptoms, and it took me to a question someone else had asked you about a cat with very similar symptoms to my cat. I paid for the answer and the diagnosis was perfect(Urinary tract infection). Because of your site, I found out how serious the problem could be, and took my cat to a vat. If I hadn't found your site, we might have just waited till the next morning, and by then the vet says there would have been a very good chance of our cat's kidneys to fail -- a death sentence because we could not have afforded that kind of treatment. Instead, spending the $3.95 saved our cat's life and meant it got the treatment it needed in a timely manner instead of being euthanized due to our ignorance. Dog digging carpet
My dog (5yo female neutered Blue Heeler mix) is outside during the day and inside at night. I've only had her for 6 months- I got her from a friend. During the past month, she started scratching at our carpets ruining them. She only scratches them around the walls never in middle of the floor. Why is she doing this and what can I do to get her to stop?
